About Grandmother Heather
Grandmother Heather is the eldest child & only daughter of Grandmother Flordemayo, serving as her personal assistant & trusted support in both daily life & sacred work. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, & daughter — a devoted matriarch rooted in love, wisdom, & service. Heather holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology & Economics, with minors in Chemistry,Economics, & Math. She is a proud Navy veteran & currently lives in Boise, Idaho, with her husband, Caleb. Deeply committed to service, Heather has served on numerous nonprofit boards & is a key leader within The Path, Inc., founded by her mother to preserve & protect sacred heirloom seeds & spiritual traditions. Heather is also the lead producer of many of The Path’s events.Heather was born under the powerful Mayan Nawal of 9 Iq’ which represents divine communication, inspiration, & the sacred breath of life. Iq’ is the wind that carries change — the spirit that moves between worlds. The number 9, sacred to the Divine Feminine, corresponds with the nine lunations of human gestation & the sacred calendar. Together, 9 Iq’ speaks to Heather’s innate gifts as a vessel for life, wisdom, & sacred transmission — especially for Women. A lifelong student, Heather is a passionate advocate for the environment, for veterans, & for survivors of rape & sexual abuse. She carries a rich ancestral heritage rooted in both Mayan & Finnish traditions, & she walks a path of healing, empowerment, & service to the greater good.
About Grandmother Flordemayo
Grandmother Flordemayo is a curandera Espiritu, a spiritual healer & Mayan priestess. She is also one of the founding members of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers and the Founder of The Path nonprofit, which focuses on preserving heirloom seeds for future generations. Flordemayo was born & raised in Nicaragua, Central America, and has strong Guatemalan roots. She was raised in a family of traditional healers & began learning the art of curanderismo at the young age of 4 from her mother. As a seer, she can see other realms of color, light, & sound. In addition, she sees the effects of existing imbalances in the physical, emotional, & spiritual realms within a person’s energy system Flordemayo says one of her main goals as a healer is to share how to cultivate a greater appreciation for being alive & what it means to surrender to the present moment through Indigenous healing ceremonies, rituals, prayers, & divinely guided transmissions that deepens the relationship to Mother Earth & one’s own spiritual gifts.
